Sourav Ganguly.............The pride of Bengal.

A shocking news that overwhelmed billions of cricket fans around the world, millions of Indian cricket fans, especially the Bengal fans both parts of Bengal that Sourav Ganguli went unsold in  the fourth edition of the IPL (the ridicule circus). In India there are few egoistic and esteemed provinces and her people like The great Maratha, The supreme Bengali, The Lions (keshari) of Punjab etc. They are egoistic because of their superior nature that you can clearly see in the histories of Indian independence. You can hardly found a name of a Tamil or Kannada or Sindhi or Marwaries. But thousand of Bengalee served their lives for the freedom of the country, similarly a large numbers of Pujnabee, Marathee and Gujarati sacrificed their lives in the same purpose. In today's politics and economies or trade we can see a group of opportunist,  son of mother India and the predecessor of the same opportunist dormant  ancestors who were sleeping at the time of the revolution. In the built of modern India the role Bengal is significant. Netaji Subhas Ch Bose, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda,Raja Rammohan Roy, Iswar chandra Vidyasagar,  Sree Ramkrishna Paramhansa, Sree Chaityanya Dev, Acharya Jagdish chandra Bose, Acharya Praffulla Chandra, Satyajit Ray, Amartya Sen and last not by least Sourav Ganguly Who kept their footprint in the up gradation of Bengal as well as India.
Former Indian Skipper proved himself in every format of the game called Cricket, such as test cricket, one dayers(ODI),  also in t-20 formats. Whose collection of runs in every format is more than 22,000 runs with a very healthy average and strike rates. Everybody will be agreed that  the  best and aggressive captain ever born in the sub continent except Imran Khan. When the total cricketing nations was suffering from a deadly disease called ‘betting’, he came as a protector as a savior. Except World cup he gave us every thing, at the same time we(nation, board) provide him the intolerable pain and agony. The infrastructure of modern Indian cricket ( Team India) was his concept which was conceived by minute after minute, day after day.
The Australians always put him in bleak position and he came back like William Wallace. He challenged the baggie green and win. Now you see the baggies in test crickets or one dayer or t-20 they are no where. There rankings put them in awkward position. But The Indian franchisees are licking the foot of the mighty looser. Aussie coach, Aussie technical staff they are the indispensable part and parcel of the Indian IPL franchises who obey those hanky panky Tom Dirk and Harry like a guru(the divine saint). Those lousy Aussie staff proclaimed Sourav a problem child( or grimed jawed experienced personality hard to tackle).
So your candidature  `ll be canceled  due to some  not-cricket types of allegation, those were raised by some fatty businessman or some fealty film stars and some bone headed corporate staff. Sorry Sourav we don`t  have a Bala saheb(Bal Thakre) like Maharashtra. Enough is enough quit KKR live well.Let the great SRK think about his Kolkata Knight Rider minus kolkata and kolkatans.I am sure it will be GKR Ghost knight rider within a short span of time.
Good luck Sourav, best wishes for a peaceful family life……..

  1. I think the writer is completely swayed away in emotion. If he considers from the professional and corporate marketting point of view, he may get the answer why a veteran legend cricketer was axed out of IPL along with many. The flesh traders or barbars in disguise of cricket team owners should not be expected to render justice to the cricket game. Such corporate culture is simply absent in European Football. Sourav is already a billionarie and he should have refrained from earning more even at the cost of mortgaging his hard earned honour. His too much greed and his gambling in IPL auction has buried the sentiments of his ardent supporters including myself. Please boycot IPL once for all.

  2. Yesterday in a Kolkata meet Sourav on the point of elemenation of his candidature from IPL, he replied, " Beggars have no choice" They have to depend on the promoters or selectors. That means he had no regret for what had been done against him as he was a professional and made to earn money keeping aside any sentiment what Partha like followers do possess.
